TRUCKEE, Calif. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The mountains win again and they are in fact blue.
A semi-truck carrying cases of Coors Light beer overturned on I-80 in Placer County early Monday morning, scattering silver cans across the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All westbound traffic was rerouted was temporarily rerouted onto Rainbow Road but one lane of traffic has since reopened.
CHP said a driver and passenger were in the truck when it overturned and both suffered minor injuries.
Authorities think the driver might've went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and then tipped over leading to the spillage.
CHP wrote on Facebook, "Don't get any ideas. It'll get cleaned up soon." Some of the stock was even salvaged from the side of the road!
