SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (WTVC) — Rescue crews saved four goats from a ba-aa-aad situation on the east brow of Signal Mountain Wednesday, and it was all captured on video.
Walden's Ridge Emergency Service shared their efforts on their Facebook page. Watch below:
According to the post, the goats had been stranded on the ridge for nearly two weeks.
Unlike their brethren mountain goats in the Rockies, these goats were not as adept in traversing the ledge.
Concerned citizens reached out to the agency to help.
Their post says:
..although our main priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of humans, we recognize the importance of helping our community in unique situations like these.
With help from the Chattanooga Hamilton County Rescue Service and the Sparta Rescue Squad, crews eventually managed to get their goats off the ridge and on solid ground.
We are not kidding when we say a great job to all involved!
