CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Cincinnati Zoo tweet of a Fiona sign at the Women's March has led to a backlash on social media.

Someone at the march was holding a sign with the famous preemie hippo that read "Fiona is female." The zoo's tweet said the same with hashtags about the Women's March.

Some of the Zoo's followers tied the Women's March to politics and pro-abortion issues. Several of them said they would cancel their memberships or would not renew them. Others said the tweet would keep them from voting for the levy the Zoo is trying to get onto the ballot.

Others supported the Zoo and didn't really think the picture was political. They said the Women's March was simply in support of women's rights and asked why couldn't the female hippo be used in the signs.
