CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The popular fast-food chain announced the change to its fries on the Chick-fil-A website.

Chick-fil-A has announced a slight adjustment to the recipe for its beloved Waffle Potato Fries. The change aims to maintain the same great taste while ensuring the fries stay crispier for longer, the company said.

In response to concerns about allergens, Chick-fil-A emphasized that food safety and quality remain top priorities. The new recipe does not contain any of the nine major allergens, the company said. However, the updated coating for the Waffle Potato Fries includes pea starch.

For those seeking detailed nutrition, allergen and ingredient information, Chick-fil-A advises customers to check with their local restaurant.
