A police officer in the Akron area made a surprising and furry discovery during a traffic stop.

Springfield Township Police Department said an officer pulled over a woman on South Arlington Road who had an active warrant and a suspended driver's license.

After detaining her, he came back to her car and found something moving inside—a live raccoon in the driver's seat with a glass methamphetamine pipe in its mouth.

Officers then searched the car and found meth, crack cocaine, and three used glass pipes.

The department said 55-year-old Victoria Vidal was charged with felony third-degree possession of drugs, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for driving under suspension.

Chewy the raccoon was unharmed.
