LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — A central Arkansas woman won $1 million playing the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, lottery officials said in a news release Monday.
Bridget Putt of Cabot won on a second-chance drawing, in which a non-winning ticket is submitted for another chance to win, according to the release.
Putt said she plans to use her winnings to buy a new car and move her and her 13-year-old son out of her parents' house.
Putt is the 63rd person to become a millionaire by playing the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, the release says. The lottery began in 2009.
