LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) - Lancaster police responded to a report on Feb. 6 of a man who robbed a stand inside Central Market.

The man pretended to be an employee and when he was alone, he stole cash from the stand and fled on foot, according to police.

The suspect was described as a man in his 30s who was 5-foot-4 and possibly South American or Asian.

In addition, he was described as having straight, black hair covering his ears with wide cheekbones and a pointed chin.

A witness also provided the hand-drawn sketch of the suspect pictured above.

Officers say while the sketch looked cartoonish, it helped remind one investigator of a potential suspect.

A photo of that person was then given to the witness, who positively identified 44-year-old Hung Phuoc Nguyen.

Nguyen is wanted for two counts of theft by unlawful taking.

Anyone with information on Nguyen's whereabouts is asked to contact Lancaster police at 717-735-3300 or Lancaster Crime Stoppers at 800-322-1913.
