NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) – From festivals to sporting events, a lot has been canceled amid the coronavirus pandemic. But there are some dates on the calendar that will go on -- life milestones like anniversaries and birthdays.

For Earline Hudson, her 101st birthday landed amid Stay-At-Home orders in Nashville, so her daughter brought the party to her.

A car parade in her honor drove past her home so friends and family members like her sorority sisters and church members could wave and wish Hudson a happy birthday! Earline shared with FOX 17 News the secret to making it to the big 1-0-1.

"No drinking, no smoking, clean living, good friends, good family, play cards," she said. Hudson tells us she's grateful for such a gorgeous day for the event and for her family. A total of 78 cars drove by to wish her a happy birthday.
