Moose surprises kids at daycare

BANGOR, Maine (WGME) — A daycare in downtown Bangor, Maine had quite the experience when a bull moose stopped by for a visit.

It happened Monday when, ironically enough, Maine’s moose hunting season started.

So, maybe it was just trying to avoid the woods?

Regardless, the folks at Summit Learning Center said the kids were super excited to see a moose outside their window.

The center says game wardens showed up to make sure the moose got safely back to his home.
