BrewDog launches beer for dogs, offers 'pawties' for your dog's birthday

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — BrewDog announced they now offer beer safe for dogs, and "pawty" space for your furry friend's birthday bash.

The brewers said the new service was offered to pay back dogs' loyalty to their human counterparts. At BrewDog, workers can receive a week off work to welcome a new pup into their lives.

The dog "pawties" at BrewDog are available at the brewery's flagship location in Canal Winchester.

The events can be booked in advance on BrewDog's website. The beer made especially for dogs is made from boiled carrots and bananas. A local pet bakery will also provide dog-safe cakes for each dog in attendance.

BrewDog says "pawties" cost $10 per dog. Last year, the brewery built a dog park on its grounds after legislation attempted to limit the presence of dogs on the patios of drinking establishments.
