Anonymous shopper purchases remaining Toys 'R' Us toys for $1M to donate to children

RALEIGH, N.C. — A day before Toys 'R' Us closed for good, an anonymous buyer purchased the remaining stock at a Toys 'R' Us in North Carolina to donate to children, reports WNCN.

The purchase cost $1 million dollars.

But who is this grown up Toys 'R' Us kid? Even though the employees wouldn't name the buyer, they did say the buyer was going to donate everything.

As of Friday June 29, 2018, all Toys 'R' Us locations are now closed for good.
