An Amazon driver in North Carolina had a job to do — one job — and he made that delivery as if he had on blinders because it took place in the middle of a police standoff.

That delivery happened last month in the town of Cary, west of Raleigh, and it was caught on video that was posted on TikTok.

The area was blocked off, so the driver walked.

The video shows him with the package in hand, going past police cars.

The people taking the video are amazed.

In the midst of a standoff, he’s going to deliver his package," one person said. "Amazon don’t play.

Eventually, a police officer couldn’t let a man with an unknown package get any closer, even if he was wearing an Amazon vest.

The officer took the package but the driver wasn’t done.

He snapped a picture to prove the package got to its rightful recipient in case there was any confusion caused by all the police activity.

Amazon doesn’t have a policy like the unofficial motto of the U.S. Postal Service: “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night”

Spokesperson Sharyn Ghacham told Fox TV,

We always prioritize the safety of the drivers delivering our packages and we regularly communicate with them that if they don’t feel safe, they shouldn’t deliver the package and instead reach out for immediate support.

The TikTok video has reportedly been seen more than 7 million times.

No word on what was inside the package.
