(KUTV) - Kari Keone is a young Utah woman with a large online presence.

She’s active on multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

She never expected though to see her picture posted on a sexually explicit website. A friend found it for her just recently.

Her Facebook profile had been posted anonymously online – the person behind the post was also requesting anyone who saw it, to post nude pictures of her.

When Kari addressed the issue on her Facebook page, the nude request immediately was deleted. She believes for that reason, the poster got spooked and is within her social media circle.

She says sites like these are not uncommon and pop up continuously.

We did a little digging and there are even categories on this one, requesting pictures of girls from high schools in Utah.

Kari is working with other women to get the site taken down and she’s also personally contacting every woman who’s picture is up there, to make sure they are aware of how they are being violated.

She adds that there are men out there in Utah, who hoard photos like these of women, trading them amongst each other like “Pokemon cards."
