CatsWASHINGTON (WJLA) - The Citizens Advertising Takeover Service (C.A.T.S.) launched a Kickstarter to take over a D.C. Metro station with cat ads.
So far the group has raised $1,902 of its $30,000 goal.
The organization successfully organized a cat takeover at Clapham Station in London last year.
This would be the group's first project in the United States and it starts with our nation's capital.
C.A.T.S. is working with local animal welfare groups to get photos of cats that are up for adoption.
So, what is the point of this project?
The group says the project is a distraction from our chaotic daily lives, and it hopes to make people smile.
