GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- Although Republican Governor Scott Walker has yet to say publicly whether he'll seek a third term, one Democrat has already declared.
25-year-old Bob Harlow is a 3rd generation Wisconsinite and Stanford University graduate who ran for Congress in California last year.
He says he'd like to see a record investment in infrastructure.
He also wants high-speed internet built to every home through a public utility company.
Other ideas include a 200 mile per hour train connecting Wisconsin cities to Chicago and Minneapolis for business and tourism.
He also wants to modernize highways to accommodate driverless cars of the future.
Harlow told FOX 11, he gained valuable experience during his failed Congressional bid in California.
"I grew up in Barneveld, Wisconsin, and I think I understood small towns, and I think I understood medium sized cites pretty well,” said Harlow. “But I didn't really understand the issues that are unique to bigger cities, and when I ran for Congress in California, I learned about that."
At 25, Harlow said he doesn't feel his relatively young age will either help or hurt him. He said he believes Wisconsinites will focus on the issues.
