CLEVELAND (WSYX/WTTE) - The Ohio State Highway Patrol was caught in a high-speed chase near Cleveland after a 10-year-old stole the family car Thursday morning.
OSHP said this was the second time in two weeks that the boy had stolen the car. Video showed the car dipping into the median into oncoming traffic.
The boy's mother told police that she had tried to catch him but was unable to. She ended up calling 911.
OSHP said the chase lasted an hour and reached speeds of 100 mph.
The boy was unharmed and taken into custody of Children's Services.
