10-foot alligator caught outside of San Benito, Texas

A scary sight for some outside of San Benito, Texas, on Sunday.

That’s after a 10-foot alligator was seen in the backyard of a home off of Highway 345.

According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, game wardens were able to capture the alligator and relocate it to a wildlife refuge.

Texas Parks and Wildlife said it is common after a flood event for alligators to get displaced.
