April is Stress Awareness Month, according to nationaldaycalendar.com.

Between the deadlines, to-do lists, financials, ETC., stress is a common daily occurrence.

The month helps remind people to take time destress and to recognize the difference between good and bad stress.

A little amount of stress is a good thing because it means you're working hard and care about what you're doing.

No stress means living a lazy life without much work.

Too much stress can be counterproductive and make some people not able to think straight.

Life is a healthy balance.

Stress can be harmful for emotional and physical health.

It can cause physical ailments like diabetes, miscarriage, muscle and joint pain, ulcers, IBS, stroke, ETC.

How to take place in this month-long observation:

  • Try and control stress
  • Destress
  • Listen to soothing music
  • Exercise
  • Breathing exercises
  • Oil diffusers or candles
  • Natural supplements
  • Use #NationalStressAwarenessMonth or #StressAwarenessMonth on social media to share how you celebrated

The Stress Management Society created Stress Awareness Month, said the website.
