Lineup for two-day Maha Music Festival announced, tickets on sale Friday

OMAHA, Neb. (KPTM) — The lineup for the two-day Maha Music Festival was announced Wednesday morning in a press release from the festival.
The 15th annual event will take place in Aksarben Village Friday, July 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 29 from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
There will be 15 artists that appear on two stages over the two days.
Headliners include Grammy-nominated alt-folk indie act Big Thief on Saturday and Turnstile, a "genre-pushing hardcore band" that are known for their energy on stage.
Other artists include:
- Alvvays - alternative/dream pop
- Peach Pit - surf-rock indie
- The Beths - indie rock
- EKKSTACY - post-punk syth
- Terry Presume - hip-hop/funk
- Black Belt Eagle Scout - alt pop
- Say She She - soulful disco pop
Local artists performing include:
- Icky Blossoms
- BIB
- M34N ST33T
- Garst
- HAKIM
- Ebba Rose
A silent disco will take place at NFM,700 S 72nd St., with Tweleve DJs.
V2 tickets go on sale Friday, February 24 at 10:00 a.m. at mahafestival.com.
VIP tickets cost $130 for Friday, $160 for Saturday, and $240 for both days.
General admission tickets run $50 for Friday, $60 for Saturday, and $100 for both days. General admission tickets may increase in price once tier 1 is sold out.
Maha Festival is looking for volunteers for the event, those who wish to volunteer can apply at mahafestival.com/volunteer starting Friday, February 24.
