WASHINGTON (TNND) — Headlines from The Associated Press to the New York Times Wednesday suggest that Republican voters are contributing in major ways to the record early turnout across the country.
"Traditionally, Democrats outpace Republicans voters in in-person early voting numbers by around 80 to 20. Right now, what we're seeing [in] a lot of these early vote battleground states, [is] Republicans are just barely edging out Democrats or they're actually really beating Democrats," explained Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump.
"We've really tried from the RNC and the Trump campaign to send the message out there that we want you to vote early," she added."
