WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration posted two recall notifications to its website this week, recalling the popular Honda Odyssey minivan. The recall includes the 2011 to 2016 model years.

The first recall includes 633,753 minivans that were manufactured from Aug. 17, 2010 to Oct. 1, 2015. The affected vehicles have second-row outboard seats that have a release lever that allows the seats to move for easier access to the third row of seats. This release lever may remain in the unlocked position, allowing the seats to move unexpectedly.

Honda will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional bracket and spring to both second-row outboard seats, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin Jan. 23, 2017. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is KD5.

The second recall includes 7,549 minivans that were manufactured Sept. 23, 2016 to Oct. 24, 2016. The affected vehicles have a second-row center seat with a horizontal adjuster bar that may stick in the unlocked position, allowing the seat to unexpectedly slide. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seat Systems."

Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the slide function and replace the horizontal position adjustment bar, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin Jan. 23, 2017. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's number for this recall is KD4.

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
