FCA's Ram 1500 is Edmunds' #1 pick for trucks.
Introduced at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 has a distinctive, rugged look that blends luxury with cutting edge technology to deliver great capabilities while providing improved fuel efficiency.
Weaver calls the 1500 one of the best truck he and his team have driven saying it is head and shoulders above the competition. Among the Detroit Three-- GM, Ford and FCA-- the Ford F-150 finished second in the truck competition and the Chevrolet Silverado finished third.
The only other American vehicle to win top honors in the Edmunds competition is the Lincoln Navigator, selected as the top luxury SUV.
The Edmunds Editors' Choice Award winners are selected by the Edmunds editorial team based on extensive vehicle testing and ranking. The overall winners come from a group of finalists ranked highest in their vehicle class on the Edmunds site.
