(WPDE) — Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott are engaged to be married!

The "New Girl" star and "Property Brothers" co-host announced the exciting news to Instagram Monday.

The two posed to show offDeschanel's engagement ring and captioned it, “Forever starts now!!!”

The couple has said in numerous interviews over the years that they met while filming "Carpool Karaoke."
