WASHINGTON (SBG) -- The house featured in the hit television series "Full House" is available for purchase today in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports the home's owner, Jeff Franklin, will list it by the end of April. It is unknown yet how much the home costs. Franklin also happens to be the executive producer and creator of "Full House" as well as the recent Netflix spinoff "Fuller House."

Franklin says that even though the home "willalways have tremendous emotional significance to me," it made sense to sell it now because the Netflix spinoff is ending soon after five seasons.

"It is a symbol of the shows I love, and the second family I have formed with the casts of ‘Full’ and ‘Fuller House,’" Franklin told the Chronicle in a statement. "I hope to find a buyer who wants to make it a full house once again."

"Full House" has recently been in the headlines after one of its former main stars, Lori Loughlin, was caught up in a college admissions scandal. She is scheduled to appear in court on April 3rd.
