The "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," the hugely popular '90s sitcom, will be celebrating its 30-year anniversary this year and to commemorate the special occasion, Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff are throwing a virtual block party.

“It’s humbling to see how The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and our music has transcended time and continued to shape pop culture,” DJ Jazzy Jeff told Rolling Stone.

Hosted by Jazzy Jeff’s MC Dayne Jordan, the “Break the Monotony Block Party,” kicks off on Instagram Live this Saturday and features a long list of musical guests stopping by including DJ D-Nice, Just Blaze, and DJ Clark Kent. The event title is an homage to the hip hop duo’s iconic hit “Summertime.”

Each DJ will go live on their own Instagram profiles and perform while celebrating the Fresh Prince. During certain times of the event, multiple DJs will perform simultaneously, which will allow the fans to decide on which performance they want to tune into.

During the virtual block party, there'll be exclusive merchandise up for sale. The limited edition collection isinspired by The Fresh Prince himself, his role in the iconic '90s sitcom and his Grammy Award-winning music catalog with his partner in crime, DJ Jazzy Jeff. A portion of the proceeds made from sales will go toNo Kid Hungry, which is helping provide consistent access to healthy meals for children who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting school closures.
