Two of my favorite films of 2023 are in theaters this weekend.

"Asteroid City,"the newest film from Wes Anderson, is one of the director's most enjoyable films. I had the pleasure of talking to some of the cast and added working with Anderson on something, anything to my bucket list. The second film was something of a surprise. "Past Lives" is a fantastic romantic drama filled with vulnerability.

If it's a blockbuster you're looking for, the closest thing we have is "Marvel Studios' "Secret Invasion" on Disney+. I didn't have a chance to watch it yet, but will do so this weekend; Or wait for "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" next week.
