Since his days in WWE, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has always been known as the "people's champ." With his most recent gift, that's a title he won't be losing anytime soon.

Katie Kelzenberg, a high school student from Minnesota, asked Johnson to prom on Twitter last weekend with a video of herself dressed as Johnson from his wrestling days in the 1990's.

Not only did Johnson see the tweet, he responded with a surprise.

Kelzenberg was sitting unknowingly in her classroom in Stillwater, Minnesota, when the morning announcements came on.

Business as usual, until Johnson's voice took over the announcements:

Alright, let’s start this Friday morning announcement off with a little bit of fun and a little bit of excitement ... You're probably thinking 'What is 'The Rock' doing on our intercom system!? Well, I'm sending a message to very special young lady.

Johnson then says he can't make it to the prom because he's filming a movie, to which Kelzenberg responds, "That's OK!" Johnson then adds he has rented out a local movie theater, close to her high school, and told her to bring 232 of her closest friends to see his latest film "Rampage"and have all of the free snacks they want. He then added:

I want you to go and have the greatest time! I rented out 232 seats! Katie, have the best time. Thank you for being awesome!

To top it all off, Johnson followed Kelzenberg back on Twitter. Not many high school students can say that.
