CINCINNATI (WKRC) — "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" has made more than $100 million in ticket sales worldwide -- all before its premiere.
AMC, which holds the official distribution rights, recently announced the impressive presale ticket profits, according to Variety.
The pop star's movie already shattered the record for the most single-day ticket sales in AMC's history, earning$26 million on Day One.
"Barbie" has had the largest domestic debut of 2023 so far, reaching $162 million in sales, but industry experts say "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" could top it.
Deadline reports it's projected to make $100-125 million its opening weekend in North America alone, which would make it the highest-grossing concert film ever.
The movie will premiere Oct. 13 in 8,5000 theaters across 100 countries, including every U.S. AMC location. Tickets are still available through Fandango.
