WASHINGTON (SBG) — The "Italian Stallion" is back for another round, narrating a new documentary that follows the original "Rocky" movie titled "40 Years of Rocky: The Birth of a Classic."
Sylvester Stallone, 73, will provide a voice-over for the film, which is a blend of director John Avildsen's home movies, rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage.
Stallone was a relatively unknown actor when he wrote the original screenplay for "Rocky" and starred in it.
The low-budget movie turned box office-knockout would go on to win three Academy Awards. Stallone, who was just 30 at the time, spawned a creation that would span seven sequels, including two "Creed" movies.
The documentary comes out June 9 on Apple TV.
