Joshua Allen, winner of season four of “So You Think You Can Dance,” has died at age 36.

His family confirmed Joshua’s death early Wednesday morning to TMZ.

They later revealed the cause, saying he was struck and killed by a train near Fort Worth, Texas.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram confirmed that on Tuesday, September 30, police responded to railroad tracks near an intersection in south Fort Worth around 1 a.m. local time. The victim, who was not identified as Allen in the article, was taken to a nearby medical facility.

Allen’s family confirmed he died at a hospital near his Texas home on Tuesday.

An investigation into his death is ongoing.

Family members told TMZ Allen was a man of integrity and family focused, wanting to bring everyone together under one roof for the holidays.

According to the outlet, his family spoke about one of their final conversations, revealing, "One of the last things he said was to keep God first at all times. You have to be real with yourself before you can be real with anybody else."

Allen won “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2008, coming in first place ahead of Stephen "tWitch" Boss.

He continued his dance career, appearing in “Step Up 3D,” the 2011 “Footloose” remake, and a 2011 episode of “American Horror Story.”

TMZ reported he faced some legal trouble in 2016 when he was charged with domestic violence, and served time for a year in 2017.
