With two weeks left in the badlands of 2024 presidential election, the Harris-Walz campaign is calling on some executive help from "The Boss."

The Democratic ticket announced Tuesday that Bruce Springsteen will hit the trail and headline events in crucial swing states Georgia and Pennsylvania over the next six days as the race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump stands on razor thin margins.

The 75-year-old rock n roll icon will headline a pair of "When We Vote We Win" rallies featuring Harris and former President Barack Obama -- Springsteen's friend and fellow "renegade" with whom he co-hosted a podcast and co-authored a book.

The "Born in the USA" singer endorsed Harris and Walz-- the latter of whom is a massive Boss fan and called his 1980 album "The River" a "transformative piece of art" -- while denouncing Trump earlier this month. He praised the Democratic ticket for its "vision of this country that respects and includes everyone, regardless of class, religion, race, your political point of view or sexual identity."

Meanwhile he, like many others from Dick Cheney to left-wing activists, denounced Trump's apparent disdain for "the sanctity of the constitution, the sanctity of the rule of law and sanctity for the peaceful transfer of power" while calling him the "most dangerous presidential candidate of my lifetime."

Springsteen is no stranger to stumping for Democrats as he began campaigning alongside that party's presidential nominees starting with John Kerry in 2004 -- he would also play a pair of "Vote for Change" shows that year with R.E.M., John Fogerty and Bright Eyes -- and has a cornerstone of the party's soundtrack and playlists since. He even debuted the title track of his 2009 album "Working on a Dream" at a Cleveland "Get Out the Vote Rally" for Obama in 2008.
