Selena Gomez's friend Francia Raisa, who also donated a kidney to the star, is shutting down rumors of a feud between the two.

Francia donated a kidney to Selena in 2017 but was allegedly not invited to her wedding to Benny Blanco.

Several days before the wedding, Francia was interviewed by reporter Magaly Ortiz for Univision.

“Well, right now you’re asking me is nonsense that has been in the media and there are too many rumors. I’ve never said anything,” Francia said in the interview, translated from Spanish by The New York Post.

She continued, “When that rumor came out that I had gotten angry or something like that because [Gomez] was smoking, I wasn’t aware of those rumors.”

Francia added that TMZ had reached out about rumors she and Selena were on the outs, but said, “So, what you’re asking me are rumors. No one knows what’s going on, and neither she nor I are talking about it. One day, maybe we will address it.”

The 37-year-old actress was apparently absent from the wedding.

She said during the interview, "I know she's getting married, and I'm very happy for her. And look... she has a life and she is already a billionaire and I am grateful that I could do that for her."

When asked further about what advice she would offer to someone when it comes to organ donation, Francia said, "Look, from the beginning the doctors told me, it's a donation. If you are going to donate a dollar to St. Jude or somewhere else, you're not going to call to say, 'Hey, what are you doing with my dollar?'”

She continued, "It's a donation and it's something nice I was able to do. I am grateful that I am alive and I can say that I have saved a life."

Francia declared in 2023 that she and Selena were still friends, despite the fact that their relationship had become more distant.

She told USA Today at the time, "We hadn't spoken much in six years. Especially [in] the last year, we didn't speak at all. We've never really had beef with each other. Nothing happened, and if you ask either of us, we don't know what happened, but we needed that time apart. Then when you come back together, you're better people."
