Rumors are swirling that Ryan Gosling could be cast as the new Black Panther.

Where did this fan theory come from? Let us explain!

In the just-released comic book, the new Black Panther looks just like Ryan Gosling!

‘Marvel Knights: The World To Come Vol. 1 #1,’ showed off a new look to Black Panther, who is claiming to be the son of T’Challa (famously played by the late Chadwick Boseman). This threw superhero fans into a frenzy as they were speculating that the ‘Barbie’ star could be the next ‘Black Panther.’

The final page of the comic shows the new Black Panther taking off his mask, revealing a white man with blonde hair and blue eyes, clearly looking nothing like T’Challa but more so like Ryan Gosling.

In the past, Marvel Comics has switched up comic-book characters looks. For example, they changed Star-Lord to resemble Chris Pratt for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy.’

Gosling does have a lot of Disney ties, though (The Walt Disney Company acquired Marvel Entertainment in 2009). He’s been rumored to be in ‘Ghost Rider’ or ‘Nova,’ but nothing ended up happening with those roles. He is also starring in the recently announced ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ for Disney.

Can’t wait to see where Ryan Gosling will show up!
