A new restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip opened with style and stars Friday. "The Bedford by Martha Stewart" held its official grand opening at Paris Las Vegas.
Stewart herself was on hand to host the festivities and was joined by her friends, rapper Snoop Dogg and "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo, to commemorate the special evening, KSNV reported.
Modeled after her home in Bedford, New York, The Bedford is Stewart's first restaurant and features 194 seats. The dining destination draws inspiration from her 1925 country farmhouse and offers "an authentic glimpse of how Martha lives and entertains in her own home."
It officially opened to the public Saturday and is now accepting reservations online.
I am so thrilled to open the doors to The Bedford at Paris Las Vegas, my first-ever restaurant,” said Stewart in a news release. “We have worked tirelessly to bring my farmhouse in Bedford, New York to life in Las Vegas, and I think visitors will be enchanted by what we have come up with. These are the same dishes that I serve to family and friends in my own home.”
Some of the menu items featured include starters such as classic niçoise Salad and oysters Rockefeller. For the main course, guests can enjoy a whole roast herb chicken witha smashed baked potato and finish the night off with an upside-down lemon meringue pie.
Signature cocktails include the "Martha-tini," made with ubrówka bison grass vodka, dry vermouth and a lemon twist, and the "Frozen Pomegranate Martha-rita," created with Casa Dragones Blanco tequila, Cointreau, pomegranate juice, and a salt and sugar rim.
The new restaurant also features Martha’s Chard, her California chardonnay from 19 Crimes. Snoop Dogg also has a wine under the same brand.
