Pixar's short film 'Out' features first gay main character

CINCINATTI (WKRC) — Pixar's latest short film features its first gay main character.

The short film "Out," was released on Disney+ Friday.

It tells the story of a man named Greg who struggles with coming out as gay to his parents.

The film takes on a whimsical twist when Greg switches bodies with his dog, causing him to realize he shouldn't hide who he is from his parents.

"Out," was directed by Steven Clay Hunter. His previous credits include "Finding Nemo," and "Wall-E."
