Pink stops concert to comfort teen who lost her mother

BRISBANE, Au. — Singer and songwriter Pink stopped a concert Monday to comfort an Australian fan who lost her mother.

Leah Murphy, 14, attended Pink's show in Brisbane. Leah's mother was a huge Pink fan and was originally supposed to go to the show but she died in June. Leah held signs about her mother at the show and the singer saw them.

Pink immediately stopped the show and walked into the crowd to give the girl a hug.

Leah's aunt said the hug lifted Leah's spirits during a difficult time and the teen hasn't stopped smiling since the show.
