Rick Harrison, known for his lead role on the hit television show "Pawn Stars," slammed the border crisis after his son's death was revealed.

TMZ first broke the news of Adam Harrison's passing after he was found dead on Friday. A family representative confirmed the 39-year-old had died from an overdose, which has since been confirmed as a fentanyl overdose.

“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” Rick Harrison told The New York Post.“The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously,” Harrison continued when speaking to the Post's reporter. “It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”

Rick Harrison posted a picture from when he was together with his son on the same day that the news of his death broke.

"You will always be in my heart. I love you Adam," Harrison wrote in a comment to the Instagram post.
