Paris Jackson admits she has a hole in her nose from past drug use
Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, has revealed a shocking side effect of her past drug use.
In a TikTok video she shared Monday, Paris shared a video explaining she has a “perforated septum” and even shined a light from her cell phone up her nose to prove it.
She explained she has a “really loud whistle” when she breathes through her nose, and explained the hole is “slightly different from a deviated septum.”
“That is from what you think it's from,” Jackson said, adding, “Don’t do drugs, kids.”
She continued, “I don’t recommend it because it ruined my life.”
The 27-year-old explained she doesn’t want to get plastic surgery to fix it because she has been sober for six years and “you have to take pills when you have a surgery that gnarly.”
Paris said she’s been living with the hole in her nose since she was “about 20” and it has made recording vocals for her music career a bit complicated.
The hole is big enough that she can “actually stick a spaghetting noodle” through it.
Paris spoke about her sobriety journey last month at the 35th annual Friendly House Awards Luncheon in Los Angeles.
“I didn't just get my life back. I got a better one,” she said, per People. “I say it's funny, I feel like getting sober was kind of like getting into a car accident because everything I shoved in the back seat moved forward on impact and today I'm learning to navigate life on life's terms."
During her speech, she also said she was “really grateful to be a part of a movement that aligns so much with my higher purpose and the essence of my daily reprieve. Getting someone to develop conscious contact has easily been the greatest action I've ever taken and I pray that I can continue to help others.”
