'Only Murders in the Building' renewed for season 6 with a new location!

“Only Murders in the Building” will be back—but this time, they’re changing up the location.

The Hulu series starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short just wrapped its fifth season with another cliffhanger murder, this time of fellow podcaster Cinda Canning (played by Tina Fey).

Cinda’s latest true crime podcast was happening in London, but somehow she found herself chased through the streets of New York, ending up at the gates of the Arconia, where all the other murders in the series have taken place so far (hence the title “Only Murders in the Building”).

With her dying breath, Cinda grabbed hold of the gate, which our fearless podcast detectives, Mabel (Gomez), Charles (Martin) and Oliver (Short) more or less counted as being in the building.

The news of the show’s renewal was confirmed by Variety, as was the location change to London.

In addition to Gomez, Martin, and Short, this season has hosted a star-studded roster of guest stars, including Renee Zellwegger, Christoph Waltz, Logan Lerman, Keegan-Michael Key, Beanie Feldstein, and Bobby Canavale, along with returning famous faces including Meryl Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Nathan Lane, and Michael Cyril Creighton.

“Only Murders in the Building” was co-created by Martin and John Hoffman, who also executive produce with Gomez, Short, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith and JJ Philbin.

The show has racked up eight Primetime Creative Arts Emmy wins, from 42 nominations, as well as 17 Primetime Emmy Awards.
