Nipsey Hussle's girlfriend Lauren London speaks out for the first time since his death

WASHINGTON (SBG) -- Actress Lauren London has broken her silence about rapper and businessman Nipsey Hussle's death.

London and the musician dated for five years until Sunday's tragic events. The couple, who were recently featured in GQ Magazine and described as "California Love," shared one son together.

In an Instagram post, London wrote:

I am completely lost

I’ve lost my best friend

My sanctuary

My protector

My soul....

I’m lost without you

We are lost without you babe

I have no words

London also posted pictures of Nipsey Hussle and herself, the musician with his child as well as London and the rapper with their blended family of four kids. The post has already received over one million likes on Instagram. Thousands of people have also left responses of support for the model, who is expected to star in a series for BET that debuts on April 23.

Her first public comments come on the same day police in Los Angeles arrested a suspect, Eric Holder. It also comes after multiple people were injured in an unexpected stampede at the rapper's vigil which up until that moment remained peaceful.
