PURCELLVILLE, Va. (ABC7) — Want to live like a celebrity but stay put in the D.C. area? Well, there’s a house available that should meet that criteria in Loudoun County.
Martin Lawrence has put his 22,538-square-foot home just outside of Purcellville on the market for $8.5 million.
The natural light-filled, three-story house, built in 1980 and completely renovated in 2004, sits on 116 acres in between two ponds and has five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and three half bathrooms.
Amenities of the house include an indoor pool, hot tub, home theater, indoor basketball court, bowling alley and fitness room. The property is also suitable to board horses, as Lawrence said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in 2016 that he had three there.
Lawrence, 52, told Jimmy Kimmel in that same interview he would go to the house to “get away” and that family and friends would come visit him there.
The home’s address is 19290 Telegraph Springs Road in Purcellville, which is located just south of the town.
Lawrence is best known for his work in the sitcom “Martin,” as well as movies like “Bad Boys” and “Big Momma’s House.”
