The man arrested after crashing into the front gate of Jennifer Aniston's Los Angeles home on Monday has been identified, authorities confirmed to multiple news outlets.

Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, 48, was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism, law enforcement sources told ABC News. Officials added that his booking was delayed after he complained of back pain from hitting the gate.

An investigation into the incident determined the crash appeared to be intentional, but a motive was unknown.

Posts from Carwyle's social media show he repeatedly wrote about how he "loved" the star and called her his "bride."

"Set you straight about Me & Jen," a post from December 2024 read, "ReMinding you The Perfect Husband had to have A Perfect Wife Named Jennifer Joanna Aniston."

The Los Angeles Police Department said the "Friends" star was home at the time of the crash, according to KABC.

Police reported the incident happened around 12:20 p.m., and a private security guard pulled him out of the vehicle and detained him until officers arrived.

Carwyle was originally described as a 70-year-old man by a 911 caller and was later revealed to be in his 40s.

Aniston, currently starring in Apple TV’s “Morning Show,” purchased the midcentury mansion on a 3.4-acre lot for about $21 million in 2012, according to reporting by Architectural Digest.
