An emotional post by hip-hop artist Lizzo last week stating, "I QUIT," had many fans assuming the "Truth Hurts" singer was stepping away from music for good.

But now, the artist is clearing things up in a new video posted Tuesday.

"I just need to clarify -- when I say I quit, I mean, I quit giving any negative energy attention," she explained. "What I'm not gonna quit is the joy of my life, which is making music, which is connecting with people.

"I know I'm not alone. In no way, shape or form am I the only person who is experiencing that negative voice that seems to be louder than the positive," she continued.

Her response comes four days after the singer posted to Instagram that she was tired of getting dragged on the internet.

"I’m getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the Internet," she wrote on March 29. "All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I’m starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me in it."

The Grammy winner never specified what she was "being dragged" for but she has been under scrutiny for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.

A suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges that Lizzo created a hostile environment for her dancers and support team while on tour by forcing dancers into uncomfortable sexual situations. In one instance, Lizzo allegedly pressured her dancers into a nude photoshoot, it says. In another, she allegedly forced a dancer to touch a naked strip club performer.

The plaintiffs also claim Lizzo invited tour cast members to eat bananas that were "protruding" from other cast members' private parts.

An attorney for the plaintiffs, Ron Zambrano, issued a statement to Billboardresponding to Lizzo's comments about being bullied.

"It’s a joke that Lizzo would say she is being bullied by the internet when she should instead be taking an honest look at herself Her latest post is just another outburst seeking attention and trying to deflect from her own failings as she continues to blame everyone else for the predicament she is in."

Lizzo's lawyer responded to Zambrano's statement calling it "wild personal attacks that have nothing to do with the clients he is supposedly representing."
