Cordon previously said she was attacked while staying at McCoy’s Atlanta home. The lawsuit alleges McCoy should be held financially responsible for her injuries because he had previously changed the security codes to the home and refused to provide them to her.

McCoy and his personal assistant are named in the lawsuit.

McCoy has denied any involvement.

There is a chance McCoy could be placed on the Commissioner's exempt list while legal proceedings play out, and that would take him off the field. Sources tell 13WHAM Sports, however, that, based on evidence presented to them. they believe McCoy would not be subject to any punishment by the NFL.
