SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — With November nearly upon us I'd like to ask that everyone take a moment to vote. Netflix is a great escape, but we live a real country where our voices matter. Use your voice. And then reward yourself with a little downtime.
Krisha
"Krisha" sees a mother reuniting with her family, including the son she abandoned, after years lost to addiction. Some members of the extended family are prepared to welcome her back. Others refuse to believe that she's changed. Let the Thanksgiving festivities begin. "Krisha" was the debut feature fromTrey Edward Shults who went on to direct "It Comes at Night" and "Waves."

Drive
Nicolas Winding Refn's "Drive" owes a debt to the films of Michael Mann. He's not quick enough to outrun his past. (Leaving 11/15/20)
West Side Story
Steven Spielberg's adaptation of the Broadway musical "West Side Story" is set to hit theaters in December of 2021. In the meantime, I highly recommend checking out the 1961 version that Jerome Robbins andRobert Wise made. The story is essentially a streetwise adaptation of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" with songs provided by the iconic duo ofLeonard Bernstein and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. (Leaving 11/30/20)
