(KUTV) The list isn't all that long, but there are quite a few titles exiting Netflix's streaming service in March including TV series like "Archer," "Voltron 84" and "The Killing" and movies that I've featured in the past like "Jaws," "Memento," "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" and "The Craft." Here are a handful of other titles I recommend watching before they're gone.

Anastasia

As long as you don’t look to “Anastasia” tell the real story of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna, there’s plenty of enjoyment to be found in this animated musical directed by Don Bluth (“An American Tail,” “The Land Before Time”) and Gary Goldman (“Pete’s Dragon”). The story features a sorcerer who, in his efforts to destroy the Romanov family, starts the Russian Revolution. This forces 8-year-old Anastasia to flee, but in the process, she bumps her head and forgets who she is and where she came from. Will Anastasia ever remember who she is and find her way home?

Less Than Zero

Let's go back to 1987 when Robert Downey Jr. was just Robert Downey Jr. and Andrew McCarthy and James Spader were still teenage heartthrobs. Based very loosely on Bret Easton Ellis’ novel, “Less Than Zero” is something of a curiosity. Ellis hates the movie and it reeks of studio involvement as the nihilistic qualities have been stripped away in hopes of appealing to a much wider audience. The results aren’t nearly as disastrous as you might expect, but that might just be my ‘80s nostalgia glossing over the film’s flaws.

The Finest Hours

Based on a real U.S. Coast Guard rescue from 1952, “The Finest Hours” suffers from a Jekyll and Hyde complex in that when it sticks to the rescue it provides the sort of white-knuckle action that you’d expect. The problem is when we step away from the incident the tone shifts and the action fades into the background for a nostalgic romance drama that doesn’t quite measure up. Still, the action elements are engaging enough to justify sitting through the less effective telling of the love story.(Leaving 3/6/18)

Zootopia

We talked about "Zootopia" when it came to Netflix a year ago, but as one of the bigger titles leaving the platform its worth bringing up again.

Judy (Ginnifer Goodwin), a rookie bunny cop, teams with Nick (Jason Bateman), a con artist fox, to locate a group of missing animals and uncover a massive conspiracy in the process. The adventure they embark on is joyous exploration of a world populated by anthropomorphic animals with personalities, abilities and prejudices that are specific to their species. (Leaving 3/20/18)

Voltron 84

I'm a huge fan of DreamWorks Animation's “Voltron: Legendary Defender,” a rebooted take on the first season of the original Voltron series (which was adapted for American audiences from the Japanese anime series “Beast King GoLion”). The new series has improved upon the original in numerous ways, but there is still value in revisiting the original. This 12-episode collection was put together by the team working on the new series as a way to highlight some of their favorite episodes from the original 72-episode run between 1984 and 1985.
