Kieran Culkin’s wife is pregnant with third baby after Oscar and Emmy speech requests
Kieran Culkin and his wife, Jazz Charton, are expecting their third child together, after Kieran made a special request at not one, but two different awards shows.
At the 2024 Emmys in January, Kieran won for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role on “Succession,” and during his speech asked his wife to add to their family.
“My beautiful wife, Jazz, thank you for sharing your life with me, and for giving me two amazing kids,” he said during his speech.
He then added, “And Jazz, I want more. You said maybe, if I win.”
Kieran was on a hot streak with awards, winning the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his part in “A Real Pain” earlier this year, and took the opportunity to remind his wife of the deal they made.
“About a year ago, I was on a stage like this and I very stupidly, publicly said that I wanted a third kid from her because she said if I won the award, she would give me the kid,” he said during the ceremony. “Turns out she said that because she didn't think I was going to win.”
He went on to explain that Jazz at first didn’t remember the Emmys deal before eventually agreeing to it. That’s when Kieran added he had a larger goal in mind.
“She turned to me, and she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’ I held my hand out. She shook it, and I have not brought it up once until just now. You remember that, honey?”
“I just have this to say to you, Jazz, love of my life, ye of little faith: No pressure. I love you. I'm really sorry I did this again and let's get cracking on those kids. What do you say? I love you!”
Now the couple appears to have gotten to “cracking” on at least one more kid, debuting Jazz’s baby bump at “Waiting for Godot’s” opening night on Broadway on Sunday.
The couple already share a daughter, Kinsey Sioux, 6, and a son, Wilder Wolf, 4.
