WASHINGTON (SBG) — Kanye West has paid college tuition for George Floyd's daughter in the wake of his May 25 death at the hands of a police officer.
A representative for West confirmed to CNN that he set up a 529 education plan to fully cover 6-year-old Gianna Floyd's college costs.
He also made a $2 million donation that will be dispersed between the families of Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor. CNN says this includes legal fees for Arbery and Taylor's families and will be used to support black-owned businesses in Chicago and other cities.

Widely-seen video shows Derek Chauvin, a Minneapolis police officer, fatally kneeling on Floyd's neck and ignoring his pleas for help during an arrest last week. Chauvin is charged with second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. The other three officers who were present on scene are charged with aiding and abetting.
Arbery was killed on February 23 after 34-year-old Travis McMichael and his father, 64-year-old Greg McMichael, chased him after seeing him running in their Georgia neighborhood. A judge ruled Thursday that the murder case against all three defendants -- includingWilliam "Roddie" Bryan, who recorded the shooting -- will advance to trial court.
Taylor was fatally shot by police back in March when narcotics detectives knocked down her front door in Louisiana. No drugs were found in the home. This led to a review of how Louisville police conduct "no knock" search warrants, according to the Associated Press.
The FBI has opened an investigation into her death.
