WASHINGTON (SBG) - Much like the rest of his famous family, it looks like Kanye West is putting his Yeezy sneakers to the side for a bit and getting into the beauty business.

With his wife and sister-in-laws’ building multi-million dollar empires through the beauty business, it isn't surprising West might have gained an interest in starting his own cosmetic brand.

According to a report from TMZ, new legal documents show that Kanye's company recently filed for a "Yeezy" trademark to produce a multitude of beauty, hair, skincare, and healthcare products for every age and gender. Items include makeup, facial masks, body wash, shaving cream, toothpaste, perfumes, and body oils.

Though he's been pretty quiet since the start of 2020, Kanye is letting his actions speak for him. Most recently he became the world's highest-paid musician.

Marching with Chicago-area Black Lives Matter protestors in the wake of George Floyd’s death, West donated $2 million to be dispersed between the family’s of Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. Along with his generous donation, he also set up a college fund for George Floyd's 6-year-old daughter.

With the success he's seen with his Yeezy sneakers, it wouldn't be surprising if he sees just as much with his new beauty ventures.
