Julian McMahon's co-stars from "Charmed," "Nip/Tuck" and "Fantastic Four" are paying tribute to the actor, who died July 2 in Clearwater, Florida, after battling cancer in private.

McMahon landed a leading man role on “Charmed, playing semi-reformed demon Cole Turner, husband to Alyssa Milano’s character Phoebe.

Milano shared a tribute to McMahon on her Instagram, writing, “Julian McMahon was magic. That smile. That laugh. That talent. That presence. Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. Losing him feels unreal. Too soon. Too unfair. Rest, my friend. I’ll carry your laugh with me. Forever Cole. Forever Julian.”

Fellow “Charmed” stars Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs also shared their memories of the actor on social media.

McGowan wrote on her Instagram Stories, “Oh Julian, you force of brilliance, wild talent and humor. For you, your family and loving fans all over the world, I pray comfort."

Combs said, “One of a kind is an understatement. Your unyielding zest for life and crazy making sense of humor will be sorely missed. The joy and laughter you were the direct cause of will always be remembered.”

McMahon’s other well-known role was on the plastic surgery drama “Nip/Tuck,” which earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

His “Nip/Tuck” co-star, Dylan Walsh, said in a statement to Deadline, “I’m stunned. We rode this wave together and I loved him. My heart goes out to Kelly and Maddy. Jules! I know you’d want me to say something to make you smile — all the inside jokes. All those years you had my back, and my god, we laughed. My heart is with you. Rest in peace.”

Among his other roles were the villain Dr. Doom in the “Fantastic Four” movies with Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba and Chris Evans.

Gruffudd posted about McMahon on Instagram, writing, “Even though we played each other’s nemeses, there was always so much lightness and laughter working together. Every encounter with him was a joy. It was an honor to be Dr. Richards to his Dr. Doom.”

McMahon’s final role was on the Netflix murder mystery “The Residence,” playing the Australian Prime Minister.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Madison McMahon.
